NEW TO GWA? We are so glad you decided to visit the GateWay Assembly website. We hope that you will come to visit our services and be a part of all that God is doing here in people’s lives.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT GATEWAY
When you come to GWA, you will be find people all over, from the place you park your car to where you find your seat, who are warm and friendly and ready to serve you in any way they can.
Our greeters will greet you at the door and direct you to whatever part of the building you may need to go to.
If you would like to visit our Holy Grounds Café, workers will be available to serve you a hot or cold specialty drink. If you visit our 9:00 am café service, feel free to keep your drink with you during the service.
You can visit our Information Centre, located in the foyer to get information on all the events going on, as well as to get answers to any questions you may have.
Once you enter the auditorium, greeters will welcome you and an usher will help you find a seat if needed.
There are services for the whole family that include contemporary worship, Biblical teaching, and an opportunity to make a decision to follow Jesus. Our services are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes in length.)
Please feel free to come as you are – attire is casual (even jeans).
WHAT ABOUT KIDS?
Kids programs are offered during every service for infants through 6th grade. Our greeters at the door will direct you to the Nursery and/or Studio Kids area. Workers will assist you with getting your children checked in and to their special area.
WHAT ABOUT STUDENTS?
Driven Youth Ministries is GateWay’s thriving student ministry that connects youth to one another and encourages a personal and passionate relationship with God. All students Junior High through College, are invited to be a part of the Wednesday night service in the DYM Youth Center. Additionally, the third Wednesday night of every month, Jr. High, Sr. High and College/Career (ages 18-30) break off for their own service. Our greeters at the door will direct your students to this area.
CHURCH SERVICES AT GATEWAY
Sunday morning services are at 9:00 and 10:30 am. On Sunday nights, our service begins at 5:00 pm. and offers a variety from the 1st Sunday of the month being “Acceleration”, where the youth put on the whole service, to the second and fourth Sunday nights being an interview of a person or couple that relates to that night’s message or a guest speaker;to the Third Sunday night, which is our café night, where the service is shortened to allow for a time of food and fellowship with each other.
Wednesday nights at 6:45 offer a variety from a DVD Teaching with Discussion Groups to a verse by verse study on a book of the Bible to a guest speaker for a night or a series.
